The vineyard was first planted by the owner’s great-great grandfather. The Estate has been farmed organically since 1990. Lucerne planted as a natural competing cover crop to encourage the vines to delve deeper into the earth for moisture, ensuring low yields, thus producing wines of depth, substance and flavour.
